We took care of creating another contrast between the elements of our Folfer chair ( chaise Folfer ). It is about a contrast between the textures of objects forming the Folfer chair ( chaise Folfer ). The slightly brushed and then polished finish of the skis, suggested to us a matt finish as the painting of refrigerator radiators. The matt finish creates the illusion of a satiny and soft surface and thus invites the observer to sit and touch the graceful curves of the seat and back. The slightly granular textured painting of the seat's and back's surfaces contrast between the polish and the coolness of the aluminum surfaces of skis. Also, the radiators of refrigerator form a texture of small stalks, a hard shape (stalks) and empty spaces. At the same time, the radiators seem very fragile with their small metal stem nevertheless well enough solid to support the weight of one person.
